Mark Colbourne MBE is a public speaker and former Paralympic and world cycling champion. He won Gold at the London 2012 Paralympic Games after transitioning to para-cycling following a life-changing injury. In May 2009, Mark survived a paragliding crash that resulted in a broken back and temporary paralysis from the waist down. After six months in the hospital, he focused on rehabilitation and adapting to a new path in life Within three years, he became a world track cycling champion, a double world record holder, and a Paralympic gold medalist. His achievements in sport led to him being awarded the MBE by King Charles III for his contributions to cycling. Today, Mark shares his experiences through speaking engagements, focusing on resilience, adaptation, and goal-setting.
